Polycarboxylate Polycarboxylic Ether Superplasticizer PCE Liquid(50% Solid Content) is the third generation of high performance superplasticizer which is beneficial to improve the workability of concrete admixture, reduce bleeding, and improve the appearance quality and durability of concrete. It is composed of an aqueous copolymer of polycarboxylic acids. When added to concrete, it reduces bleeding and material separation, allowing for a significant reduction in water content by at least 25%. It can be used as mother liquor to formulate other compound admixtures, like early strength type, retarding type, anti-freezing type, etc.

Usage Cautions

• Cannot be added together with rosin soup air entrainer.

• Cannot be kept in metal container for too long.

• When mixing and measuring the slump loss, be aware that it takes longer time to be in effect than naphthalene admixtures.

• Do not mix with naphthalene-based admixtures. If other admixtures, such as set retarder or corrosion-inhibiting admixture, are required simultaneously for some special projects, compatibility tests should be conducted beforehand.

Dosage

Recommended dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% by weight of binder. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.

Package, Storage & Shelf Life

Liquid packed in 1.1 ton IBC tank and flexitank.

It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture.

Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
