Description
Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde(SMF) is an non-airentraining superplasticizer powder based on Sulfonated melamine formaldehyde condensates.It is a polymer used in cements and plaster based formulations to reduce water content, while increasing the fluidity and the workability of the mix. In concretes, addition of SMF in an appropriate mix design results in lower porosity, higher mechanical strength, and an improved resistance to aggressive environments.

Use and Dosage
Add in proportion and mix thoroughly. Recommended dosage is 0.3 – 1.2% of binder weight.
Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
